Believe it or not, an efficient and easy way to store your holiday string lights is by putting them in plastic bags. Place each string in a separate plastic bag, and label each one by writing where the lights go on them. No wrapping necessary — just bag it! If you prefer not using plastic, a great alternative is making cardboard storage spools. Using strips of cardboard, cut slots on each end to make the “spool” so the lights don’t slip off. It’s a great way to recycle cardboard and stay clutter-free.

Ornaments
We know how fragile ornaments are, so we have to take caution with storing them. There’s an easy solution to this problem, and it’s by using plastic storage tubs and storing each ornament separately in a plastic cup. Use cardboard to separate the layers of cups.

Gift Wrap

Storing an artificial Christmas tree can be a pain and take up space. Cramming it back in its box isn’t effective. Instead, buy two concrete form tubes that are eight inches in diameter. Take the twine and wrap each layer of the tree. Then, shove the layers in each tube. Mark the tubes with layer numbers to stay organized.
